December Days

'Twas the month after Christmas and we wanted to remember

The fun that we'd had in the days of December. 

So I've uploaded pictures and thought up some rhymes

To tell you our tale of the happiest of times.

First to view lights in Salt Lake we did go

With the Spanish Branch to see temple square and the snow.

Then to Christmas programs, we had more than one.

To see Lily dance and play "klinkers" was fun.

Birthdays, we had 3 in one week alone!

Lex,

Sage

 and Chaddy, who was turning one.

Sagey turned 3 and she got art supplied.

Lexi, a teen! displayed cougar pride.

Chad, in his first year, developed a penchant

For balls and for trucks, so those were his presents.

The Branch threw a party.  We had breakfast outside.

The  Mortensens came to give children train rides!

Of the children with Santa, Miss Esther took pictures.  

With camera in hand, she sure is a wizard!

Everyone sat with Santa, except for teen Lex

No screamers this year, just wait untill next!

Soon Christmas Day came, with joy in its wake,

But my eyelids tell me it's time for a break!
